Our History

The Jeanne Caroline Mfege Foundation was born from a story of resilience, faith, and love. On May 10, 2021, Jeanne Caroline MFEGE passed away from ovarian cancer after a long battle fought with courage and dignity. This ordeal, marked by periods of intense suffering and difficulties in accessing healthcare, was transcended by deep spirituality and trust in God.
It is in this spirit that her husband and loved ones wished to preserve her legacy by establishing a foundation dedicated to providing healthcare access for vulnerable populations. Driven by the ideals of solidarity and kindness that guided Jeanne Caroline, this initiative aims to offer essential healthcare services to those in greatest need.

Our Missions

Fighting Cancer
Organizing regular screening campaigns for early detection of this silent disease.
Improving Access to Healthcare
Providing quality care to rural populations with limited mobility, complementing the efforts of the Cameroonian government.

Addressing the needs related to endemic diseases such as malaria and typhoid fever in surrounding villages.

Our Commitment to Rural Populations

The foundation works alongside government efforts to address the healthcare needs of rural populations. Many nearby villages (Ekiembié 2, Eyek, Ekiembié 1, Akekela, Zili, Ebolsi, Ngou, etc.) have limited access to healthcare infrastructure. We are committed to bridging this medical gap by establishing a local healthcare facility.
